Defining “Software-Defined Perimeter”
Cybersecurity, as a topic, can be opaque, even for those who work in the field. For those on the business side of the equation, it’s hard to tell who’s all hype, and who’s the real deal. Appgate needed help communicating that their proprietary approach to “zero trust” cybersecurity really could do all it promised. To stand out from a rather stodgy bunch, we helped empower Appgate to go all-in on a bigger, bolder approach to brand identity and campaigns.

“People-Defined Security”
Whilst developing some very specific product campaign concept ideas, I played with the name of their products’ broad category: “Software-Defined Perimeter” (or “SDP,” for short). I flipped the the acronym on its head and came up with a new way to define SDP: “People Defined Security.”
