I helped create a lot of campaign concepts for BlueYonder, but the first is still my favorite—and not just because it won Mighty & True an Austin Addy award. This was a truly integrated campaign concept with physical and digital assets, outstanding (and adorable) design, as well as a compelling story and strategy.
Blue Yonder: Mission to Mars
It was a very simple idea
A man. His dog. Living on Mars.
My doodle on my desk was the spark that lit this rocket.
Blast off
This hyper-targeted ABM campaign tells a story about an astronaut, a dog, and their love of MARS (a potential Blue Yonder customer).
It’s got sci-fi, an adorable dog, and PLENTY of strategically sound ways to position BlueYonder’s product. What more could you want?
There were three individuals at MARS whom Blue Yonder wanted to reach. The ideas was to create three unique posters with different parts of Ali’s and Max’s story on the back (along with information about BlueYonder’s products).
I helped create other collateral to make the experience more immersive and cohesive—including a mission patch, spaceship “boarding passes,” a “flight plan,” and postcards.
